How Roses and Rust Got Started

While visiting family in Australia last November, I met a woman in Sydney who was selling eco-printed scarves. After a lengthy discussion, we decided that the Canadian maple leaf would be a wonderful leaf to try and capture onto a scarf. Months went by, but the idea never escaped my mind. After intensive research, silk sourcing, leaf searching and business planning I decided to give it a try.

With the help of my graphic designer daughter, Rachel, Roses and Rust came to fruition.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait until the fall to see the Canadian maple leaf in print. I can hardly wait.
